After Snow White and Romeo and Juliet, Angelin Preljocaj returns to narrative ballet and his taste for stories. Blending Tchaikovsky's musical masterpiece with more contemporary arrangements, he tackles this monument of the classical repertoire. This work began in 2018 with Ghost, in which he paid homage to Marius Petipa by projecting himself into the choreographer's imagination at the time when he came up with the idea for Swan Lake. Faithful to the original work, he transposes the story of the swan princess to the heart of the issues of our time.
